Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a form of therapy where client and therapist work together to think about the underlying reasons for present behaviours and self-beliefs. Psychotherapy can help people to consider the root causes for current issues and how to move forward from these. Psychotherapy might involve thinking about attachment experiences, childhood experiences and how these have impacted current relationships. Psychotherapy might also involve helping to think of strategies to support every day life.
Psychotherapy is a talking therapy but might also involve creative ways of working. Art Psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy which involves art making. More information about this can be found in the Art Psychotherapy section.
